How Can I Get More Involved?

If you are registered as a Democrat in Adams County, you are automatically a member of the Adams County Democratic Party.   You are welcome to attend the monthly Executive Board meeting of the officers, captains and co-captains, and elected officials.

Welcome to the Adams County Democratic Party, the party of success!

Adams County has a tradition of electing strong, principled Democratic officials and we want to continue working towards that goal.

Working at Fever Pitch for Caucus
Written by Marty Wisniewski, ACDP Chair
There is no time in an election cycle which puts more fear and excitement in a Democrat’s heart than a caucus.  It is the grassroots equivalent of the WWF wrestling.  It is where the pavement meets the road, where acid indigestion meets the Tums.  It is the start of a political process that will unite and empower the party faithful.
Turn back the clock a bit.  The year was 2008.  The country was in the midst of failed economic policies and involved in two wars.  The DNC was coming to Denver and the energy was at an all-time Rocky Mountain High.  The caucus meeting rooms were overfilled with Democrats excited about the change in the wind.  We found a way. We found our drive. We found the pulse of the country.
It is now two years later and the flame may not be burning as brightly, but the heat is still there.  Our Democratic officials have been in the trenches working hard, while the Republicans are sipping tea and building walls.  Remember, they have no intent to govern, no intent to make things better.  Moreover, they are intent on fear-mongering like McCarthyism or using a scorched earth policy when it comes to our economy.   They have become the corporate sellouts of the political world.  In their world they would have the White House renamed to Bankster house.  We give their elected officials corporate bonuses when they vote their way.
It is time to energize your Democratic neighbors.   We all need to get working, get excited; get to your caucus!
