    Congratulations

Congratulations to all of our candidates and newly elected officials.  Thank you to all of the volunteers and campaign workers who helped make the 2008 election a history-making event.  We will all remember where we were on November 4, 2008.  Please stay involved.  Remember, "all politics is local."

Megan Carter - Asst. Secretary
Megan Carter was born and raised in Adams County in a family of Democrats. Her love of
politics started at a young age when she would attend various events with her grand parents who were active Democrats. She served as a student election judge at 17 under a new program to involve younger people in the voting process. Throughout high school, she volunteered at University of Colorado Hospital in the Renal Transplant Department, totaling three years.
Currently she works at University Hospital in one of the out-patient infusion centers. She graduated from Westminster High School in 2002 and continued on to college. She is currently finishing her Business Administration Bachelor of Science concentrating in Management.  In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering in her community, traveling, photography, spending time with family and friends, and politics. She looks forward to helping the Adams County Democrats enlist more young people to continue the legacies of many veteran Democrats.
