If you are interested in volunteering for the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, you must sign up at the Colorado Democratic Party website.  Please see the link on our home page.

We are often asked "How can I get more involved?" Here are some suggestions:

If you are registered as a Democrat in Adams County, you are automatically a member of the Adams County Democratic Party.   You are welcome to attend the monthly Executive Board meeting of the officers, captains and co-captains, and elected officials.  You must be a member of the executive board to vote or make a motion.  If you wish to speak during the meeting, please contact the chair before the meeting.

* Attend the Adams County Democrat fundraisers held several times a year. Click on the calendar for more information.

* Our next AdDemFems (ladies only) breakfast will be coming up on a Saturday soon. This is a new networking group, no dues, no officers. $9.50 at 9 am, contact Armene Brown to make a reservation and for more information armlarbro@comcast.net

* AdDems is a fun social group. We meet the first Thursday of almost every month. We may have a speaker, go on a field trip, or be at the county fair. Click on the calendar tab from the home page and look at first Thursdays to see what we are up to. Dues are just $5 per year and include a subscription to the Gadfly (the monthly newsletter).

* If you are ages 18 - 35, join the Young Dems. They are a small, but committed group learning about leadership and being involved politically. 

* Walk in a parade - carry a banner - hand out candy - wear your best red/white/blue - blow up balloons - or work in one of several booths we will have during the summer and have fun. We are in several parades every summer, beginning with the Commerce City Memorial Day parade, , Strasburg, Bennett, and Brighton parades. We  have booths at Thorntonfest, Westminster Promenade and the Adams County Fair. Just email carol-n@comcast.net and let her know you are ready to join in the fun.

***Join the Century Club. $100 per person per year. We need funds to keep headquarters open, pay the phone bills, and for the newsletter.

**Do you have a business? You can advertize in our monthly newsletter, the Gadfly, for a very low price.
